Vitamins: all at once or spread throughout the day?!


Question: I take a handful of different types of vitamins. I don't believe they are time release for better absorbtion. I do know that a lot of the vitamins are peed out. So I was wondering if it made a differene if I were to spread them out over the day.


Answers: I take a handful of different types of vitamins. I don't believe they are time release for better absorbtion. I do know that a lot of the vitamins are peed out. So I was wondering if it made a differene if I were to spread them out over the day.

If each individual tablet or capsule is a different vitamin, taking them all at once (preferably with a meal) is no better or worse than spreading them throughout the day.

If you're taking, for example, 3 vitamin C tablets per day, it would be better to space those out throughout the day so you can maintain a consistently elevated vitamin C level.

spread out through the day is always better no matter what because your body reacts better to the food and breaks down the products much more easily
if using tablets just try to stick to any dosages given but even with tablets, try to spread out through out the day whenever possible (without disrupting dosages)
