Not Breathing While Lifting= Quicker Results?!

Question: I'm in Biology this year and have learned that the lactic acid caused by fermentation is what rips your muscles, causing them to regrow stronger.
Fermentation is a process that occurs inside your body when there is little oxygen and thus little energy. So, I ask, if I stop breathing, do 10-15 reps, and take a breath, repeat. Will this technically help me grow stronger, quicker.

Actually, lactic acid is the byproduct of your muscles when they aren't getting enough oxygen.

Muscles can burn up energy one of two ways: aerobic respiration (the usual and preferred method) or anaerobic (which doesn't need oxygen but produces lactic acid)

Lactic acid, in high enough levels, is TOXIC to your body! It does absolutely nothing good for your tissues at all.

What is more important is that you breathe, because if you don't, you might become hypoxemic (low oxygen in your blood). This is especially true because lifting increases your muscles' demand for oxygen, but at the same time, you're not letting oxygen in or carbon dioxide out of your body!

Breathe in as you push out or up. Inhale as you relax.

no..This is just BAD for the body.

I really don;t suggest trying that. For one, it would make doing the exercise MUCH harder, and you could possibly pass out. It's really not a very good idea. I suggest just working out the old fashioned way.
