Does standing for long periods of time help increase your calf muscles gradually!


Question: So I just started working as a hostess a week ago, and I was thinking about something today while at work: does standing for 5 hours straight/ no breaks help increase your calf muscles over time??

you dont really use your claves wile standing. try to stand on your toes, i did that last year for 2 weeks. everywhere i would walk, it would b on my toes [i dont meen all the way on my toes, just maby the back of my foot raised about an inch-half an inch above the ground so i dont look like an idiot]. and did it help? well it helped to a sertain point, then it just started toning instead of getting bigger. now my calves are HUGE and stand out a lot when i wear shorts. this is becuse i have acctualy avoided anything that tones them and stuck to lifting a lot of weight with them.

not really but if you wear heels while standing for 5 hours then your caves will get stronger and look more toned. only down fall of wearing heels for that long is your feet will start to hurt and you risk the chances of twisting your ankle.

I really don't know how, or if it works but it is a good thought.
I'd keep doing it and check it out. do you understand what I am saying?
