No no no! Do not continue this eating behavior. If you want some guidance you should check out--- http://caloriecount.about.com/
It's a weight loss community that has tools online that can help you track the calories your body needs, calories your body burns, and the calories you need to take in. It even lets you log in your foods and gives you a nutritional analysis report everyday! It's pretty sweet. I still use it after my weight loss to make sure I don't gain it back. Also, you can chat with other users, compare notes, get advice, and even suggestions for great, healthy recipes! I love it. Plus-- its free!

Eating 600-800 calories will dig you an early grave. Your behavior screams 'eating disorder'... Get out and get help while you can.

Stick with it, sounds like a really great way to lose weight.
Wish I had the will power to do something like that.
:(

its not healthy but it will make you lose weight and muscle. I would double your caloric intake at least. 2 lbs a week is about as fast as you want to go.

you're on the right track. take a multi vitamin, too

you need more calories. Your body needs the nutrients from food. I think you are harming yourself more than helping. Weight loss is supposed to be done over time, losing 20 pounds in a month is not healthy. talk to a nutritionist.

To answer your question, YES, you are hurting your body!!! Whenever u eat under around 1000 cals a day, your body goes into starvation mode. This can severly damage your body in many ways. If u want to lose weight healthily, eat smaller portions, healthier foods, and exercise. Good Luck

600-800 calories per day is not enough! i would shoot for about 1500, especially since you are doing an hour of cardio. Focus more on what you eat...whole grains, fruits and veggies and lean mean or another protein like beans.

600 calories will make you extremly sick if not put you in the grave. You need at least 1200 minimum to live and no less.

Yes, cardio helps. Do lots of intense cardio for at least 2 hours a day. Switch it up, do the stair steper, jump rope, walking, etc.

The cure for headaches is to drink lots of water (at least 2.5 liters a day) and to eat healthier. No processed foods or artifical things. Cutting out lots of dairy helps also.

Your getting a headache because you are not eating enough calories and even though you are losing weight you will not be able to keep it up. You need to eat at least 1200 calories a day minimum. You may start losing at a slower rate but you will be able to keep it up and maintain your weight loss once you reach your goal. Your goal should be to have healthy eating habits and exercise habits that will last and the outcome being that you lose weight. You will feel better and have more energy and have created good habits that will last a lifetime........Good Luck.........

i'd say bump up the calories just a little bit because normally you should be having close to 2000. Try eating 1000 a day, it may stop the headaches although it may slow the weight loss down just a LITTLE bit

I agree, 600-800 is not a lot at all and really not good for you. Most doctors will prescribe at least a 1200 a day diet.
They don't even like to go that low. On a 1200 a day diet with exercise, you should lose about 50-70lbs in a year with exercise.
Depending on your body and metabolize it could be 50-100lbs

don't eat that little calories... you should eat 1,200-1,500 calories a day and do cardio and weights. if u continue what you are doing, you will lose body fat along with all muscle (except in your legs). You will look very very scrawny... and no man wants that... fix it... hope i answered your question ! :)

You'll lose weight but you'll hurt your body....and as soonas u start eating properly again - the weight will come piling back on!!!

You need to eat (female) 12-1500 cals a day and guys a bit more just for the basic needs when ur trying to lose weight, if your exercising ontop of this, u still need to have some more cals to compemsate- u will lose weight, but more effectively, you'll do it healthily without losing muscle, and you will keep it off, which is what i'm assuming you want?

most people make the mistake of eating too little when they diet, they usually need to eat more as it keeps ur metablism going which is the thing that makes u loose weight faster - a healthy metablosim = a healthy weight loss that will stay. if you lose weight this way, you'll ruin nyour metabolism and end up finding it harder to shift weight all through your life, not just now.

i know it can be frustrating and u can lose patience, but you'll feel so much worse if u lose all this weight and then put it back on again even by eating non-fatty foods. on that point, u need essential fats - omega 3, to help work ur body (nervious system i think) and if ur a girl, to help the hormone balance and essential hip fat in order to reproduce (that's why women have fat around their hips and tummys and men dont), so eat nuts and oily fish at least 3 times a week and this will help with a healthy weight loss.

try and be careful ok? you'll get there, it'll just take a bit longer but you'll be healthy.

goodluck

600-800 calories per day is not enough for your body to work properly. if a woman was to stay in bed all day and do absolutely nothing, her body would need 1400 calories just to repair tissue and keep her alive (men need 1700) if anyhing else is done on top of that such as cardio, more calories need to be eaten.

if the body does not get enough calories to function properly, it will tell itself that it is about to starve and will use energy from the muscle, it will hold on to fat cells and you will not burn any fat, to burn fat you need to eat the proper amount of calories to burn that fat and reduce your weight. it sound stupid that you have to eat more to burn more fat but its the truth!!!

Stop doing that now unless you wanna die! You are in an extreme calorie deficit. You may be losing weight now but that's combo of water weight, fat, and muscle. Your metabolism is going to severely decrease. You'll eventually gain all that back and more because of poor metabolism. That is, if you're still alive. 6 lbs a week is crazy. Strive for 1-2 lbs a week. You need to eat! Keep it at around 1500 - 2000 cals a day. Don't sacrifice you health just to lose weight fast. Be patient and do it slow. Your body will thank you.

It's not the calories which affect you weight, but the type of food you eat.

Back in the 50s experts reported to U.S. Congress that refined sugar and carbohydrates are the major cause of weight gain (as fat). Not fat intake.

If you eat helthy foods, your body does not crave any more food than it actually needs - you fill up more easily. So you don't eat as many calories as if you eat unhealthy, refined foods.

Unrefined vegetables, fruits and grains also contain fibre, which aids elimination of excess calorie content and also fills your stomach more quickly.

As for exercise, you mustn't overdo it - you could damage your body, perhaps injure yourself, particularly your joints. You will be particularly vulnerable if your boddy is not supplied with sufficient amounts of the right types of food, which supply enough nutrition with which to repair itself and withstand physical stresses.

The idea of counting calories and reducing fat intake is an outmoded and oversimplistic (actually, plain wrong) popular notion.

Be healthy and you will have normal weight - whatever normal is for you.
