Highschool Volleyball?!


Question: This summer there are tryouts for the Volleyball team.
I have never played competitive volleyball. But I would really like to be on the team.
What are the main rules for volleyball?
What kind of exercises should I do to get in shape?
If you play volleyball, or have ever played, Please tell me what to do.

START RUNNING NOW.
Try to go to a day camp or something.
Theyll tell you everything there
And normally tryouts are a grueling experience.
But just TRY your best.
Because they look for people who really have heart and who they know will give it their all.

But yeah just start running.
The workouts they have you do in practices will whip your *** in to shape.

I think this is more directed towards the sports category. If you want to get in shape start running, using the treadmill or whatever. Just need to start getting active. Good luck!

im a freshman and made the JV team.
number one. is show you want it.
if you have heart and a good attitude
it shows the coaches that you are dedicated to improving.

number two is start running.
im not going to lie. i got my *** beat during pre-season
and tryouts. so i suggest to run a lot and do wall sits.
you need good leg muscles in volleyball.
lunges are good too :)

games are usually to 25 points
you must win by two.
there are 4-6 people on a court usually.
you will find out more during tryouts.
