What would be my ideal weight and BMI?!

Question: I currently weigh around 9st (125lbs?) and I'm 5ft 7in. I eat a healthy diet and lead a very active and busy life, but sometimes I feel that I'm a little on the slim side. How do I calculate my BMI? would you say that I'm a healthy or an unhealthy weight?

Thank you :)

Your BMI is 19.6

Very healthy. Anything under 24.9 is very good.

Your BMI is 19.6 which is in the healthy range. Normal BMI for someone your height and weight would be 18.5 - 24.9. So you have room to gain or lose some weight and still be healthy : )

You are fine, so lay off the fatted calf for a while longer.

Go to this website:

You have a nice face if that is you in the avatar...you are pretty light for a male, in my opinion, males are meant to be a little higher on the BMI I believe. . You should aim to weigh at least a stone more at your height, given you are male. I am considered very slim, and I am the same weight as you and a female of 5'10 almost.

Eat more protein and pasta, rice etc if I were you.

no, you're healthy.
at least you're not fat.!!!!!

graelwyn
is right in everything she said.

*giggles*

I would say you are a bit underweight. It's nothing to worry about though unless you feel too thin.

Increase your portions just a bit and you should fill out.

I'm no nutritionist but I would say that you are a little underweight , but it depends on how old you are , if your still young you will gain as far as the BMI gos I'm sure you have no issues there but anything under 20 i think would be ok but dont believe me , ask a pro
