How to get my backbone straight?!


Question: I am a mn of 26 years old. Because of long sitting in front of the computer, I used to have my backbone bent.. years after years of this bad habbit, I find it hard to get it straight again..Do anybody knows some exercises that I can do in home for that?

I have scoliosis and grew up having to sit on the ground against the wall and forced myself to have my shoulder blades constantly touching the wall. sounds easy, but after awhile to hurts. but it trains you. plus, when you catch yourself in the mirror slouching, you realize how lazy it looks.

instead why not go to a chiropractor

Yoga, or pilates, are really good for things like that, because as well as improving your core muscles, which have a lot to do with your posture and how you hold yourself, they make you more aware of your body, so you're more likely to notice when you're slouching and be able to correct it. You can find an exercise class near you that will offer it, or if you don't want to feel like you're being watched, you can order DVDs and do them at home.
