If you don't work out routinely, would your muscles disappear?!
Question: when you cease to work out, your muscles do not turn into fat like some people think. They atrophize, or get weaker.
When you work out, your body is thinking "holy crap, those muscles are getting worked hard; they aren't gonna cut it. I better make them bigger and stronger". When you stop working out, your body says "oh, guess not..." so they become weaker. However, a normal person's body gains muscle mass WAAAAY faster than those muscles atrophize, and yes normal activity is usually enough to keep your muscles adequate.

if a body builder dose not work out they "deflate" although normal activity is ushualy enough to keep people from losing all mussel mass ( people in coma's need to have there mussels stimulated to keep from losing all mussle mass)
hmm not sure..maybe
