I've heard it's harder to digest and it causes you to want to eat more.

You must have misread. If a diet soda has artificial sweeteners, it contains no calories. Diet sodas are all calorie free. The way they do this is because artificial sweeteners are hundreds of times sweeter than regular sugar so they can use a lot less to sweeten a drink.

You might be confusing artifical sweeteners with high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). HFCS is made from fructose - a sugar - and is absorbed very quickly into the body. This HFCS, if not burned off quickly will get converted and stored as fat.

What I have read is that they have studied people who drink diet sodas and it doesn't help them lose weight. It also says that it causes people to have cravings. I have not seen anything that the diet sodas cause weight gain, it just doesn't seem to help them lose weight. Also some studies show that some people think; well I saved this many calories by drinking diet I can have a little more food and that doesn't work. I just think artificial sweetners are unhealthy and they do cause you to retain water, become bloated. So, if you are trying to lose weight you don't want that extra water weight.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss (it's actually a colon cleanse) and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it (it's 100% natural). The results were excellent. I lost about 20 pounds in 2 months with this detox. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.easy-diet-fit.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.
Good luck!
