the more you weigh the harder it is to notice drop in weight. dont worry congradulations for losing the weight!! if you were 90 lbs and lost 30 it would be a lot more noticeable. keep doing what you are doing. if YOU feel better thats all that matters, people will eventually notice if they havent already.. some just dont say anything because they dont know if it would be offensive to someone. weight issues are a touchy subject to some people! good job!

Some people are rude, but if you lost 30 pounds great job :p that's quite an accomplishment if I do say so myself. Keep up the good work :P?

Have you changed your clothing? If you are still wearing the clothes that fit you when you were heavier they won't be able to tell the difference if it is big, try wearing more form fitting clothing.

maybe it's the clothes you're wearing.

I would say it would be really hard for anyone not to tell that you are smaller??? Some people are just jealous and wont say anything people are weird when it comes to something like that.My friend recently lost 50 pounds and no one has said anything to her except her little girl, myself and her husband not even the people at work. And let me tell you I can def. tell it on her.Sounds like your doing great and keep it up you should be able to tell a difference in your clothes by now so go by that instead of other people.Goodluck

I would say, buy a few new, well-fitting pieces of clothes. If you look better, you'll feel more confident, and hopefully that will kick off a positive feedback loop and then you can let your friends/family appreciate your hard work! Good luck!

wow good job from 215 to 185?!!! nice! i did taht but now im anorexic ahah so thats a bad thing i'm tall so people noticed i lost weight it depends on ur height if ur a lil short then yeh not alot of people will notice i guess you should check your BMI (body mass index) which is a calulator thats calculates the fat in your body by your height and weight and that will determine whether you need to gain or lose more ...if that doesn't help then people are just assholes like someone else said before anyways good luck and don't go anorexic! its not worth it =D

there is 3 things that may be happening:
1st- You lost water weight (not very likely 30 pounds lost in water would mean that you were a machine of retaining water).
2nd- Clothing, if you are wearing the same clothing, people do not notice any difference.
3th-Envy. Believe me that is very common. Skinny people envy other people weight loss, cause they fear that they will become their "competition".
Fat people in the other hand, envy the fact that you had strength to do it.

Personal advice just keep losing till you hit your goal weight. I am sure that then you will feel confident and you will not care if someone told you something or not. =)

Thirty pounds is a lot. People who "didn't notice" might just be jealous that you had the strength to drop that much weight. I recently lost thirty myself (still have twenty more to go) and there are a few people who still say I look the same (A size sixteen and a ten look drastically different, IMO). I think it's jealousy. Just jealousy. Be proud of what you've accomplished.
