Trying to get more FAT on my body?!


Question: yes i said FAT, i am extremely skinny for Gene reasons..ive tried everything from eating myself sick to lifting weights to make my arms appeal bigger. None of this has helped. It has made me unhealthy and lazy...Any suggestions on how to GAiN HEALTHY weight?

Increase your calorie intake and choose from the following:
Whey protein (mix it with just water to get the most protein impact per stomach amount :-) and/or weight gainers. Oatmeal is good and quick. Beef jerky, cheese/dairy, kashi protein bars, sliced lunch meat, eggs, high calorie protein bars, so much too eat...so little time :-) You will find that you are full at first...push past that...you will gradually be able to consume more and more as your stomach gets used to the increased food intake.

To gain muscle you need to add more upper body lifts to your workouts. Start with pushups, pullups, chinups, and dips. Then you can move into using weights. Do chest, back, triceps, biceps, and shoulders. As you get stronger, ensure you're also lifting heavier and pushing hard. You can take creatine and/or NOExplode to help you train harder/stronger/better (when you get older).

If you want to gain weight, try taking weight gainers (get them at any GNC or vitamin shoppe) and lift weights hard. Do ~8-10 reps on each set. Eat lots of food all the time (steak, potatoes, protein bars, nuts, oatmeal, granola, sausage, fruits, juice/milk) even when you're not hungry. Your stomach will gradually expand and you will be able to intake more calories. Forget running, if you want to do any cardio just to the stair master for a little bit.

You're probably prone to weight gain, like the world's biggest Big Mac eater. Lucky ducks.

eat lots of bread with cheese and oil. What ever has carbohydrates actually if you are eating it in big amounts makes you fat. depends on how many calories you burn per day. Some thing that helps is eating everything twice. Double breakfast, double lunch, double dinner (pasta or any other carb and go to bed)

well it is pretty simple actually. do you want to gain muscle or fat weight? if you want muscle hit me up and i can hook you up. i am a regular work out person. gotta stay in shape for my line of work and b/c of where i am at right now so let me know if you are interested in advice that nobody else here on yahoo can provide.

MILK is the answer to all of your problems!
Drink alot of milk in a day, every day. When cooking foods yourself, add milk and see how it turns out. when making pancakes, add milk instead of water. Make sure it is whole fat and not that sissy, one percent. Eat alot of bacon in order to put protein into your body to build muscle.

Well if you have tried all that then you may just have to wait until you are older when your metabolism slows down. Until then work towards becoming healthy again.

Do you have enough patience? You can't expect miracles in a few weeks. This is going to be a long process. (Sorry if I'm sounding patronising but you're asking for answers and it doesn't help to pussy-foot)

Also, how heavy are the weights you're lifting? Those pink dumbells are utterly pointless - designed for women who are scared of getting "big" (they may as well not bother for what good they do).

Please don't eat unhealthily, or overeat. Just try to eat 1,500-2,000 calories a day and give it time. That's all I can really say.

Go on a bulking diet. Lifting weights will not make you bigger if you're not big. So you need to lift weights and eat tons of food at the same time. Yes tons of food. But eat tons of healthy food. Eat lots of carbs. Veggies, rice, potatoes, bread, fruits. Rice and potatoes have tons of carbs so eat plenty of those. Make sure you also eat a good amount of meat. Fish, chicken, and lean beef are good for you. Remember to be heavy, you gotta eat heavy and lift heavy.

Sounds like you're built like me! Don't worry about it, learn to be happy with yourself! Eat healthy, exercise regularly (and you'll feel energetic and happy), and feel free to have a lil extra cheese, a lil more healthy fat. You didn't say how old you are but it's likely as you get older you'll start to put on an extra pound here and there.

Just live a healthy lifestyle. Sooner or later the unhealthy things you do to your body will catch up to you, and you will want to know how to loose the weight.

Keep active. Don`t eat just 3 meals a day that are large. Eat 8-10 ``mini meals`` a day. That way you won`t be eating big meals, but smaller portions throughout the day, and you won`t want to just stuff your face at dinner. If you keep active, and try not to worry about it, you won`t feel lazy anymore.

Perhaps plenty of nuts might help as they contain about 600 calories per 100 gm.

i know how you feel im skinny too but im afraid that i might get to fat so eat your breakfast (have bread and lots of it)lunch(eat a sandwich)dinner(ask yo mom for dinner rolls.
