Does the body absorb vitamins in pill form?!


Question: and minerals, like Flinstones and Centrum ...or are they just passing through the body?? I know its no excuse for not eating right but...do they do any good??...any harm??

The body will absorb "more" of the pill form vitamins if you eat them right after a full meal. This way, they are absorbed with the food. Also, drink plenty of water with your meals to aid in the digestion process.

Yes they do. Any excess, such a C are just urinated out.

Vitamins, in pill form, is what you get out of a regular meal just concentrated. Your pretty much safe from any overdose because its not aspirin or anything and what your body doesn't need gets eliminated. Remember not to take it dry but with water. EAT. Your body still needs the calories plus you get to taste something other than grouse tablets and your body still gets the right nutrients.
