The South Beach Diet is a good one, safe and easy to follow, much healthier than Atkins. I lost 11 pounds in phase 1 which was only 2 weeks. Of course, you wouldn't lose as much as quickly after phase 1, and you need to exercise.

Eat healthy foods (not so much fruits, because they're very sugary), drink TONS of water, and do daily exercises. Try that for a while and if that doesn't work I suggest getting a nutritionist. They're very helpful.

When you're hungry grab an apple, cucumber, or other healthy food that contains lots of water instead of pretzles or chips because they're very salty and won't sustain you. If you're still hungry wait 20 minutes for the food to settle.

it's easy. my mother did this and 6 weeks she dropped more than 10 lbs.

1) eat every 2-3 hours, and make sure there is protein. whenever u dont do this, ur body goes into "store fat" mode. So next time u eat, ur body will store all the fat from it, because it thinks you might starve. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE! If you're gonna miss the 3 hour rule for one meal, you're better off eating even a chocolate bar, than missing a meal. missing a meal every 3 hours is the WORST thing to do. So bottom line is: Eat protein every 2-3 hours.

2) stay away from fatty foods obviously
3) stay away from sugar. use fake sugar, diet pops etc.
4) stay away from white breads and pastas. Use whole wheat pastas and bread
5) Exercise a bit. My mother wasn't even exercising and she lost the weight. But when she started exercising she lost even more, and toned up too.

1. Buy two 5-pound weights.
2. Drop them on the floor, preferably on top of the Mustela.
3. Learn portion control, cook your own food so you know what's in it, exercise more, and consider joining Weight Watchers.

diet supplemets are good as long as you pick one right for you not all of them work or give you the results you want or think they will . i am trying to stay in shape and fit as well and really don't need to loose weight but I usually stay fit by working out with arobics ,and my weight and gym machine , I also do light reps with set up 's push up,s and with running walking, jogging etc and eating light and counting my food in take and calories .
