You need some protein, potassium and carbs. Meat and fish are good sources of protein and bread and pasta are good sources of carbs. Bananas and Gatorade are good sources of potassium. Those should be in your diet everyday if you plan on running. But you shouldn't eat right before exercising. Eat an hour or two before.
you need light healthy food so you dont get sick
