Welcome to weight lifting.

Soreness is a very common part of the weight training process. Don't let it discourage you. It will go away with proper rest and training. What you are likely experiencing is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS.) DOMS is especially noticable when you start a new routine of resistance training. The soreness is mostly due to mirco tearing of muscle fibers that occurs when you lift weights and will go away as the muscles repair themselves. This usually takes 1-2 days and sometimes a little longer for the begginer. It's actually quite and amazing process. This is how you get stronger! The source below goes into some more details and even gives some helpful tips on how to treat DOMS.

IMPORTANT: While soreness is normal you must be careful that you do not train improperly which can result in serious injury. Buy a book or research online about proper form and how to determine how heavy you should be lifting. One online resource that I often recommend is www.exrx.net.

your out of shape and just pulled them, it'll go a away in a few days, wait tolift until then. after a few weeks of lifting the pain will go away and eventually you'll leanr to like the burn.

it happens because when you lift you are tearing muscle tissue and in order to repair it, lactic acid flows to the muscle. Lactic acid causes your muscles to hurt. It will go away eventually. The more you work out the faster it will go away. Drink LOTS of water. It's a good sign

No pain, no gain.
Yes it will go away.
You shouldn't work the same muscles everyday.
You need to take a break everyother day to give them time to relax. Work certain muscles one day and then other the next day if you are working out everyday.

Decrease the reps / intesnity if the pain is extreme.
