Quit freaking yourself out. You clearly didn't gain 5 lbs that fast. Our bodies do weird things depending on whether or not we're properly hydrated, whether we've taken in too much sodium, etc. This is why they tell people not to weigh themselves every day when they're trying to lose weight.

1) You are not meant to weigh yourself at the end of the day!
2) Of course your weight will be higher, doh, you have eaten and not gone to the bathroom yet. It should be back down again pretty much tomorrow morning.

How the hell do you expect to eat in the day and stay the same weight as when you wake and have been asleep and foodless for 6-8 hours?

it's normal not to weigh the same thing in the morning than in the night. tomorrow morning you'll realise your still 155.

you weigh more because you've got food in you. weigh yourself in the morning and you should still be 155.
it's better to weigh yourself once a week in the morning after a shower. that is if you're trying to lose weight.

Hello MICHAEL BALLACK

If you want a great fitness routine, a healthy workout and strength, do squats. Doing squats are not for everyone but one thing is for sure if you want muscle gain, squats are the answer.

If you are long and lean, squats are difficult for you to do and it puts a lot of strain on your lower back and not a lot of muscle gain. If that is the case, try the deadlift for the squat. The best way is to alternate between squats and the deadlift. Do this for six weeks at 20 reps for squats then go to a normal training routine for about 8 to 10 weeks followed by six weeks of 20 reps for the deadlift. This is the perfect workout routine for fitness and strength.

If you do not have any physical difficulty with doing squats, then let's talk about how to make squats work for fast muscle gain. Do squats in a 20 rep breathing style. Prepare to do hard work in lifting for maximum strength. Remember, progress has a price, which is hard work on the squat. This is the best part of a great fitness workout.

The next part of a good muscle gain routine for fitness and strength is a workout on the bench. Try a set of light pullovers, 20 reps and limit yourself to about 25 pounds for a great stretch and the start of good fitness.

Try this routine twice a week for six weeks. To get the best workout and for fitness and strength, add another 5 pounds to the bar each time. Get your squats to over 300 pounds to get the muscle gain and strength you want not to mention a great workout.

This is the best way for great muscle gain, excellent strength and a total fitness workout.

I hate to say this but meat is fatty often, but most of all you don't weigh yourself at night. That is the worst time to do that.
They say the body metabolism slows down after 6 p.m.

I would say to weigh yourself first thing in the a.m. when you wake and didn't eat anything first for your true weight. Sleeping can burn calories and going to the bathroom first helps. Don't mean to be gross on this, but if you ate and didn't use the bathroom yet poop has weight to it and that can add up in addition to your body weight as remaining extra food still being processed in your colon is going to add to what you weigh typically until you get rid of that. I feel you need to just take a deep breath and relax, 5 lbs. is not alot. Being only 160 is NOTHING really as a grown male. I would not be concerned about it as physical activity like sports will burn that up so quickly you won't really notice you added any.

One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it's just pills, but you'll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to
