Is 126 lbs normal for someone who is 5 feet (female)?!


Question: I am 126 lbs, 5 foot and my doctor told me to lose some weight. I am fat (not obese though) , too, and do not know how to get this flab off of me. My tredmill does not work and I tried one of my friends and lost about a pound. She told me I am a little chubby (no offence), but if I lost 10 pounds, I'd be a beach babe. Please help!

Go to the gym and joing a yoga/dance class for a month or two. Quit the carbs/fat. You will get it off super quick. And have your friend be supportive with you so she wont eat ...thinking of a bad food.. bacon? hah in front of you

yeah.. 126 is kinda high for 5ft.
try looking up your BMI.
it should show you and tell you whether its high or low.
at 5 ft.. typically a good healthy weight is about 100 to 105.

HA ARE YOU KIDDING ME? F*CK THE DOCTOR! im 5 FEET AND 150 LBS. AND IM NOT EVEN CHUBBY!!!!! i just got big boobs though. 34D.

im sorry but your doctor is wrong. I am 5'1'' and well around 130lbs and I'm perfectly healthy and have a healthy BMI (look up yours). You are normal and if you really want to loose weight bc you want to then go ahead but if you're just doing this bc of what your doctor said well get a second opinion and think if its worth the energy.

126 is normal

I would not really say that your overweight, but if you feel that you are, try jogging around your neighborhood. If you want something alittle more fun and social, try going dancing or window shopping with a friend. If you are truly wanting to get those extra pounds off try yoga or a spin class. I would say that it would depend on your build. I am 5'1 and supposedly I am suppose to weigh 95-105lbs., I think I would look kinda gross. Good Luck!

126 lbs is a little on the heavy side.......just a little bit for your height......i think if you were to lose 5 or 10 lbs. it would be much better for you healthwise.......you go girl !!!!
