I feel weak with a 370 max (340 x3) bench press. Normal?!

Question: I am 5'4 and weigh 216 and can curl 70-75 pound dumbbells (have 18 inch arms and a 48 inch chest) for 6-8 reps and squat 400 x 6...I feel that my bench press max should be at least 400 for one rep...I am so close..yet so far..is it normal to feel like a pansy even though I am one of the strongest pound for pound at my gym?

This sounds more like a psychological issue than a physical one. Self esteem is something that lots of people are lacking these days, and that may be your problem. First of all I'm going to say, you are not weak at all. In fact, you are impressively robust. Bench pressing 6 - 8 reps of your own weight is an impressive feat, but doing nearly 160% of your own weight is phenominal. Squating 400 x 6 is hugely impressive as well; it requires balance, posture and technique as well as immense strength.

In comparison, I bench press 110 x 8, Curl 25 x 10 and squat 135 x 15, and I feel pretty good about myself.

In a nutshell, you are an excellent speciman of a man and shouldn't have any worries whatsoever of your physical strength.
