How do I lose 20 pounds in 12 weeks?!


Question: I am 14 and weigh 145 pounds. I want to be at least 125-120 (if possible) I want to lose it before school ends. I want to look good, I mean i don't look fat its just that I want to look fit NOT anorexic. (spelling:s) Anyway please help.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day. Include plenty of vegetables and fruits in ur food. Eat slow, chewing each morsel at least 32 times. This activates ur body to send signals that u have enough. No snacks or drinks in between except water.

Take light exercises and walking for about 30 min every day preferably twice a day.

Is this weight realistic for your height? I'll just tell you that at your age, it's going to be hard to lose that much weight that fast. It seems pretty unreasonable because you're pretty thin already. I can see maybe 10-15 lbs at the most... but not 20-25.

If you want to look fit, start working out. Start running, biking, playing sports and eating a balanced diet. At your age, activity is going to be more important. You're a young teen that's still growing. Don't push it too hard.
