Try pilates. Most gyms offer classes free with membership, but if you are not a member of any gym, there are numerous community groups (try doing an internet search for your area) as well as some pretty cheap dvds you can do at home although the latter option may require you to shell out some money for a few basis pieces of equipment. It's so worth it though. My sister just did it to a dvd at home and she lost 4 inches on her waist and 2 inches off her thighs before her wedding! (It took about 4-6 months for those results as well as a healthy diet though.)
