Diet Headache...best way to relieve it w/o eating?!


Question: Im great at dieting, and all through HS if I needed to drop 30-40lbs within a few months I could. I do so with an extreemly low calorie diet. I dont want a lecture on low calorie diet, cuz I've heard it b4, I know what I'm doing...just want to drop some weight fast. For the first time ever, I really let myself get really overwieght (everytime I had dieted b4 I was only kinda overwieght and I would diet until I got to the middle/low average for my wieght) and I'm doing great....BUT, unlike HS, I get this horrible headache after a few days of extreemly low calories...this nvr has happened b4, and I can only get rid of it by eating, and eventhough I am still loosing wieght fast, these headaches r unbearable. I've added in one cheat day a week where I let myself eat upto 1500 calories (i've nvr had to do that b4), and that gets rid of the headache. I cant sleep cuz of the head pain. ne idea why this is happening? low calories? low sugar? Dehydration? how do I get rid of it w/o eating?

the reason why you have a headache is because your body is telling you that you need energy. the reason why you gain so much weight after dieting is because of the low calories part. once you start eating your body will hold onto everything you consume. it is actually more benficial over the long run to eat more while dieting. it will be easier to keep the weight off in the long run.

Most likely an insufficiency in nutrition, you can find other foods to eat that are low in calories and yet still have your nutrition.
