Best way to build up upper body muscleswithout going to a gym?!

Question: I want to get more muscles. I have an ab lounge and a tread mill.
I really want to get a bigger chest and bigger biceps.
Are there any good exercises for that. I'm not fat at all very slender but not skinny.
I know I can do pushups but I dont think that they will work my biceps. Will pull-ups do that.
I was told that I could use a sac of potatoes to lift for my biceps but are there any other techniques?

I know this isn't your question, but in referance of your other question... I know many men, that are body builders, but they are gay. They are very built up muscular wise for their guy friends. If you stay away from building your body up and get your focus on other things, it may help. I'm sorry if this makes you angry or upset, but I'm really trying to help you... Don't get obsessed with your body and you'll be doing yourself a favor.

please feel free to email me though.
And btw, how old are you or at least tell me if you like over 25 or over 45 or something. Report It

  • Pullups will help your biceps grow. You can put more emphasis on your biceps by using an underhand grip. Once you can do a bunch of pullups, add more weight your body to keep stimulating growth.

Pushups can be performed with different hand positions and with elevated feet or torso to keep challenging your body.

Muscles grow largest when stimulated for 8-12 repetitions, so if you don't change your resistance and are able to do more reps than that, your muscles aren't really going to get any bigger, which is why people go to the gym.
