Is it possible for ur chest/arms smaller?!


Question: i've been working out 5-6 days a week for the past 6 months and i was just wondering if its possible for ur arms or chest to get smaller.....like losing muscle mass... I know it might get smaller if you lose fat off it....

yeah, it's possible. if you're working 5-6 days a week on only your chest and arms, then you're not letting your muscles grow. this would happen because of the overtraining you're putting them through and they begin to burn the muscle you were working for in order to stay fueled...it can also be because you're not getting enough protein and water. i suggest buying some protein powder and taking it after exercises. you can also eat meat, chicken, fish, eggs, yogurt, milk...ect. to get the protein you need. you need about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. ie: 140 lbs. = 140 grams of protein. also drink lots of water and stay away from soda. check out bodybuilding.com for protein, supplements and workouts...

yes if you are dieting and not doing exercise to keep them toned

Its very possible and is usually a good indicator of a flawed diet. Without the correct protein intake during a strenuous workout program, the body will start using its own muscle mass for the protein it needs. I would start by re-evaluating your diet. Remember 1-1.5 grams of protein/body pound.
