Why is it best to eat breakfast?!


Question: Wouldnt it be better to skip a meal and avoid calories? why do they say to eat breakfast? and does it matter what time you eat after you wake up? should ibreakfast be right away or like an hour after you wake?

When you wake in the morning, you have probably not eaten for over 10 hours, unless you eat really late which is not good for you at all.
However, your body will normally have been in a hibernation mode overnight which leaves you vulnerable to the body going into survival mode when you wake in the morning. In survival mode, the body goes after energy the best way that it can because it has not received energy from you eating breakfast. Your body will draw from valuable muscle in order to keep itself going, and when this happens you lose muscle mass which otherwise helps you keep down your body fat.
This can be avoided by eating a breakfast within an hour or two after waking up. Putting a healthy breakfast (not fast food for instance) into your body helps your system realize that you are not heading for starvation. (Our antiquated systems are still programmed to heed body warnings against starvation, since our ancestors were not guaranteed a meal everyday and probably had irregular stretches of no food.)
You have probably heard about the idea of eating 5 or 6 small meals per day, instead of 3 large ones. This method allows the body to see that you are no where near the level of starvation, and therefore allows your metabolism to increase.
The benefits of eating breakfast are likely more than the reasons I have written here, but please take note and eat a healthy breakfast.

Upon waking up you need to replace lost glycogen from the day before. The energy you have during your day can depend on whether or not you had breakfast. I like breakfast right away but its best whenever you are ready for it "listen to your body"

yes it is very important. breakfast gives u the most evergy for the day. think, you havent eaten for ove 8 hours and your brain needs food to start its engine so eat breakfast
