All i can say crystal is that if you're happy then stay as you are...if your not, try a wheat free diet...i've found that not only did i shift about a stone to stone and a half (never weigh myself so i don't know for sure) but i feel better, my periods are easier, i'm not bloated anymore and i have more energy...i've not eaten wheat since February...

I dont struggle with my weight but i do worry about it.

weight is a constant issue for me everyday. I was huge at 15 and didn't like what I saw in the mirror.
You have to take a stand for YOU no one else. It has to be done for you cause you want to. If you don't want to be fat, don't be. Train, eat properly and make it a lifestyle choice for life. you will thank yourself you did.
set goals and achieve them and spoil youirself ONCE when you do
good luck

hey hun i know exactly how you feel- i lost some weight and then i gained 6 kilos back and now i'm the heaviest i've ever been! its so upsetting:( i know you've probs heard it all before but eating a balanced diet and exercise really is the best option- i've tried crash dieting and sure you loose some but boy do you pile it back on! would you consider becoming a vegetarian? this cuts alot of junk out of your diet and you have to really make sure you're eating a nutritious and well balanced diet to stay healthy. maybe organise a day with a friend when you both go to the gym or for a swim- its loads funner doing it with a buddy:)

I have had a weight problem for the past 25 years, at the end of the day, if the body does not want to become thin and stay a proper size, then so be it, I have just given up with any hope of being my own ideal weight and there is no way I could ever become the weight the recomendations say, when i was 11 I was ideal weight for an adult (32 years ago) and considered slim for my build then!

hiya well i am in the same boat as you hun.
damn i am overweight i know, but people say i dont look the weight i am as i am big boned, but i feel so down sometimes, but now i have figured it out.
i think the older you get your body changes shape, and with hormones its going to be harder and you have to work a damn site harder at it.i am on medication, and had a total hysterectomy at 35,7 yrs ago.so being on hrt does not help.
i have all the intentions to loose some weight, and can loose 5lb in a day but its all fluid.i dont eat things i should'nt.
so i have now come to the conclustion, this is me,keep on doing what i am,as long as hubby loves me for who i am and i know he does.just be happy.but i agree some days its so hard.
D xx

Hey Crystal. I know where your coming from hun. My problems started with my current job - i just sit at a computer all day. I hardly have the time for exercise and no money to go to the gym. I know just how you feel and how hard it is to motivate yourself. But last week I looking in the mirror and HATED what I saw and what I had become. So I booked an appointment with my doctor, he suggested a very low fat diet accompanied by xenecal. The reason for my determination is my health, I know if i dont sort this problem before I have any health problems, I will be in trouble in the future and I dont want my son to see that.
You need to find a reason and the right time for you, take a good look at yourself and keep a focus on the end result. See your doctor, he will be able to tell you what is a healthy weight for you and how you should go about it.

I wish you all the luck for the future and if you need to chat just get in touch.

oh i now what you mean ,Ive also put on weight and i really do feel miserable about it.Every morning i get dressed I'm looking for cl others what i will look slimmer in ,so I'm washing and wearing the same old stuff. But i just enjoy food i always start well give it the middle of the week and my will powers gone.Summer is round the corner as well and that's making me worse as i wont be able to cover up .good luck your not on your own .Its nice to now that isn't it x

Yes I do! I use to be 175,then in 2004 I had back surgery& I have gone down to 135! I think it is from lack of hard work,I use to do!! So I think it is muscle I have lost!!!
