Water weight?!

Question: they say i am at 6% body fat (measured with calipers by two different personal trainers) but i'm not sure if that's really accurate. they also said its mainly water that i'm holding on so my question is... how do you determine if you're holding onto water and not fat?

take diurex.. they are water pills they will make you pee a lot! so you will need to drink a lot of water-I was told that i was retaining a lot of water nd had a lot of water weight...I started to take them nd lost 3 lbs that day of water weight..you can get them at wal mart in the diet/fitness isle

Get yourself weighed in water. Find a nearby hospital or clinic that does underwater weighing for body fat percentages.

A comparison of body fat is determined by underwater weighing and volume displacement.

They suspend you in water to get an accurate body fat percentage.

When I was running a lot, I was between 4-6% body fat. I was told a normal healthy adult male is around 14-16%, a female between 17-20% in the United States.

Of course the general unhealthy population is verying degrees greater than those figures.

Good luck and take a towel...

Go to a doc to find out the real reason if u r overweight.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day. Include plenty of vegetables and fruits in ur food. Eat slow, chewing each morsel at least 32 times. This activates ur body to send signals that u have enough. No snacks or drinks in between except water.

Take light exercises and walking for about 30 min every day preferably twice a day.

Be patient to see the results in hassle free mode in reasonable time.
