Who out there has dieted sucessfully & kept it off?!

Question: I tried the Adkins Diet but it's not something I can stick to day-to-day. When I tried Weight Watcher's it was like a true miracle! My endurance is almost 0 so I have to be extra careful of what I eat, but I can still enjoy bread & some sweets like a normal person. I've lost 8 lbs but need to loose about 15 more to get to a good point.

I noticed when I tried to starve myself with barely any calories the weight not only sat there, but I gained! I got fed up & started eating lots of small meals but by habit was I still conscious about the calories & remembered I had worked so hard to get where I am.

It's easy to get discouraged b/c it's taken 4 months to loose the lbs. but I have atleast went down 2 pant sizes.

Any sucess stories out there, please tell what worked best for you. How do you feel up when your hungry? Thanks! Also, when you reach your 10% rate with weight watchers, do your points go up or down. I can't afford meetings but I love the program.

I use to be 130 when i was in korea because I ate healthy, drank only water, and workout like crazy because my mother was a workout junkie. Ever since I moved to the states I somehow gained 50 pounds in a course of 3 years because I didn't workout and I started to eat out since I was a college student. So i was 180...it was bad..so I knew the only for me to lose the weight was to cut out fast food and drink water and workout more..but i wanted to cleanse myself out first..thats when i heard of the master cleanse diet. Beyonce was on the master cleanse diet for ten days to lose 20 pounds for her role in dream girls which was why she looked so skinny. I somehow got through the ten days and when from 180 to 160. however it was sooooo good for me because I let out all the toxins. When i was 180 i felt so sluggish and tired that i didn't even want to work out. After that diet I had so much energy. I started to stray away from fast food and workout more..and I lost additional 20 pounds. I am now 140...and I have another 10 pounds to lose to go back to the weight I was....

as i'm sure you've heard, diets do not work. change you eating habbits permanantly. eat better foods and learn what portions are supposed to be like. do you know why weight watchers works? it's because they portion the foods for you and they are slightly less in fats. i think you can do better than that.

I dislike diets that are not how I usually eat. I wanted a diet that I would continue for the rest of my life. So, I made my diet up. I call my diet, the Japanese "no-stress" health diet.

I was 125 pounds. Now I am 115 pounds.

I ate normally but I stook with the Japanese quote "Eat until you are 80% full". I ate from salad bowls, not dinner bowls. I ate anything I wanted, whether or not it was healthy was just a bonus. I only drank water and unsweetened tea. I didn't go by any diet myth's such as "don't eat after 7:00" or "eat 6 tiny meals a day". Because of this, it wasn't even "really" a diet. In result, there was no stress.

To answer your question, I ate until my body had enough. However, it was not based on if or not I "felt" hungry, but health.

As exersize, I exersized every other day for 1 hour, or everyday for 30min. [Running/Jogging/Laps on Stairs]

A year ago I weighed over 200 pounds. I decided that rather than spending money on larger clothes, again, that I should try a new nutrition product that a friend told me about.

I learned that a well-balanced nutritional program including minerals, trace elements, vitamins, and anti-oxidants, is the foundation for building a healthy body and weight management program, because I lost 40 pounds in the last year. The last five to ten pounds always take the longest to lose, but with a long term diet, it is the only way they will stay off without coming back.

It takes time to form a new and permanent nutrition habit, but since it will give me a longer, healthier life, who cares? I have the time to get it right.

I have found a family of nutritional products that I know gives me the best chance for longevity and health. I have cut down easily on the amount of food I eat without starving, in fact, I feel great.

Ive used Phenermine diet pills an they work good cause you hardly ever get hungry... Truth is i think to really stick to a diet an exercise plan, You gotta have someone to be doin it with you.. Like a friend or someone in the family to keep you modavatied.. Then you have a challenge an its fun... Thats what happens to me, I get bored with it an give up easy..
