Can u GAIN weight by eating ice all day?!

Question: I'm trying to LOSE weight, but every week I weigh myself and find out I'm gaining or just not losing, I'm curious could this be because I do eat ice like 20 times per day....is it possible water and ice could make you actually GAIN when u want to LOSE?

You sound like you have pica, an iron deficiency that causes you to eat ice all the time. Go to the doctor, and try to ask them about your iron levels and also ask about how you can lose weight safely.

It is possible to have water weight gain. You don't say how MUCH ice you're eating, though.

well yes. you can if you dont go

It's probably just water weight. It won't work.

After awhile, your metabolism will slow down sometimes when you don't eat anything.

Try eating healthy things, and just eat ice to stop cravings.

No...that would be a cool diet

Some times your body retains waters so that could be the reason why it seems like you are gaining weight. Ask your doctor for water pills. they reduce this problem. Also you need to eat lots of small meals maybe 4 or 5 through out the day. If you are only eating ice and not food your matabolism slows down and you lose weight slower.

yes. your body is going into 'starvation' mode, and hoarding all your stored fat instead of burning it off. Eat small, healthy amounts of food, and drink plenty of H2O. good luck.

ice...why dont you just drink water
and if you do gain weight it wont be fat or muscle...it will be water

ice is water, water has no calories or fat therefore you cant gain weight from it. you should be drinking 8 cups a water a day anyway.

um yeah you can gain water weight but your not gonna gain any fat or anything

No way! Ice is water! unless you have kidney issues you can't necessarily have water weight gain. You pee it out so don't weigh yourself until you feel like you're dry or not full with water
