Healthy eating ??!


Question: okay i want to lose some weight and im not overweight...healthy eating is one of my problems and i dont want to do that six meals things
i usally cook in a week: Roast,Pasta chicken, pasta, Steak , Order out and then on sunday i go out w/ my family
I run once a day and lift 2 times a week

Add more veggies to your diet. The leafy, dark green ones are the best! Put more of these on your plate than anything else, and eat them first. Pasta is high in carbs. Reduce your portion sizes in pasta. Red meat isn't the healthiest either. Try to reduce portion sizes as well.
Get a water bottle and drink it all up! Water will flush out your system, and it boosts your metabolism.
Don't worry about eating a trillion meals a day. Instead, eat at your regular times, but rethink your snacking periods. An apple and maybe a wedge of cheese instead those chips. A stick of celery and some peanut butter or cottage cheese instead of that cookie. Its so simple- because these foods taste delicious, and they make you feel happy.
When you go out with your family, order grilled foods such as grilled fish or chicken. Make sure to get those veggies.
When ordering out, don't over indulge. Order only what you know you will need to fill you up. This will keep you from eating just because you spent the money, or thats its just sitting there.
Try to get some fruits such as bananas, grapes, oranges, or whatever, to replace junk food.
When you work out, try to varying the pace your push yourself. For example- if you were on a tread mill, adjust the incline on occasion to make your muscles work differently.
If you have family in the house, get them on it to. Make it a group effort. If you have no family, find a health concsious friend to tag along.
