I want to have really skinny legs, should i become bulemic or starve myself?!


Question: Im 13. 5'9 and 118 pounds. I have a really skinny stomach, and I'm happy with it, but I want skinnier legs. I swim everyday and get exercise, but thats not enough.

I'm thinking about starving myself. If i eat one granola bar a day (probably before swimming) how long would I have to do that to notice a difference in my legs?

Or, should I become bulemic which sounds easier but would probably take longer?

Don't try to convince me out of it, I just want a straight answer.

Also, how do I stop my stomach from rumbling in class?

So I'm giving you a straight answer. I'm not trying to convince you, but I am just going to tell you the facts, even though you probably won't like it. You are already under weight. You probably just have muscular legs, but you have a Body Mass Index of 17.4, and the minimum healthy BMI is 18.5. If you lose any more weight, you are putting yourself at risk, especially if you resort to bulimia or anorexia. Both of them can cause heart failure. Both of them can cause you to become deficient in vitamins an minerals that are essential for your day to day functioning, including the functioning of your brain, which is essential not only academically, but also emotionally. If you deprive yourself of nutrients for a long enough period of time your brain will become depleted of seratonin, which is an important factor in your mental health. You may very well go into a clinical depression simply by depriving your body of proper nutrition. Both anorexia and bulimia can have a fatal impact on your mental health, not to mention all kinds of other unpleasant symptoms before you die. And the best way to keep your stomach from grumbling in class is to eat balanced meals every day. That's also the best way to improve your concentration and ability to study so that you can maintain decent grades.

You gain weight not eating in the long run because your metabolism slows down and when you eventually eat again the calories quadrupple.

instead of doing that....do the master cleanse diet. you're kind of starving in a sense but in a healthy way. With the way you want to do it...by not eating and working out..you will probably die very soon. instead do the master cleanse and get skinny that way so you won't die. beyonce lost 20 pounds doing the master cleanse for ten days. there is nothing you can do to stop your stomach from rumbling from class...thats a bodily function.

Your legs aren't going to get much slimmer. This is how your body is going to be, get happy with it.

Also, if you starve yourself you will have no energy to swim or do anything, you'll grow white hair all over your body, and you'll be slowly killing yourself.

Bulemia... say goodbye to your nice teeth. Just dont do it. Your legs are fine!!

Go talk to a personal trainer or a gym teacher, they might be able to help with some exercises (probably toning ones).

it's not that im trying to talk you out of it, but i suggest you don't do it b/c you say you exercise so that's probably why you don't have skinny legs. i'm guessing it's all muscle, so if you lose a lot of weight you're legs will be all jiggly and nasty 'cause you'll lose muscle. but it's up to you.
well anyway, i think anorexic is better because if you make yourself throw up you're just gonna mess up your throat. eating disorders aren't something you want though.

Like the 1st person said... you'll gain weight starving yourself.
Try leg lifts & stuff like that... although your legs probably won't get SKINNY, they'll be toned.

If you keep eating and doing what your doing your going to end up im the hospital with tubes down you for being dehydrated and no food .did you know your throat can close up too from no food.If you want to lose weight which for your height and weight ' your too thin now ; but if you want ro eat fruits and white means like chicken tuna,your starving your self sweetie and seriously i have seen girls go down fast eating like a bird as we are humans and food is the gas to get our energyfrom....your too tall to get real skinny legs and be thankful what you have 5/9 113 pounds start eating before you end up real sick please
