if you're feeling pain then you're doing something wrong; personally i realize that when you start weight training, and working out the old addedge "no pain no gain" is engrained in our beings; BUT if you start out slow and work your way upwards you should not feel pain, and you will lessen the likely hood of serious injury and damage, and you will also see the same results. So it sounds as if you are approaching things the correct way.... If you are trying to build muscle or lose weight there's one FREE website that will help you with both;

www. sparkpeople.com

its great for everything from proper technique and eating habits, and for group support.

in starting there is pain but when you are regular there is no post workout pain.
when you are used to regular workout only some time there will be a little pain when you do heavy weight excercise to increase you size of muscles..

If you warmed up correctly you shouldnt feel alot of pain, but i always think the pain shows its working kinda thing, i had the ab lounger and my family thought it was great but i coulnt ever feel anything happening, it didnt feel painful so i thought i wasnt doing it right

you need not get post work pain.you will sweat.feel breathless.feel thirsty. these are main things to say you have done enough workout
