I want to gorw taller and i think i am but.....?!
Question: i am a 14 year old female, about 5-5'1 feet tall..yes, i am short, but i think i am getting taller slowly..does streching actually help?..the only problem is that i am going to cut back to 1200 calories so i need to be eating the most nutritious foods without going over calories but i want to grow taller so i know i have to eat and drink specific foods to feed my body so i can get taller...what should i be eating and dreinking?..thanks!! (no growth hormones)

You're 14 and on a 1200 calorie diet and worried about not being tall? Sweetie, just love yourself for who you are and quit trying to be Kate Moss(she's ugly).Get the normal amount of exercise that a 14 yr old should have and I promise --You'll turn out beautiful!
i'm short too 14 5"8 =)
1. stretching has no effect whatsoever
2. At fourteen your most likely almost fully grown(maybe 1-2 more years of growing)
3. It does matter nutrition wise what you eat, But also how much(EAT MORE)
4.. Eat protein and get alot of calcium(Calcium intake can effect as much as 15% of your bone growth)
5. Why do you need to mention Growth Hormones?
