I need excuses for getting out of food?!


Question: I can't eat dinner tonight, not after all this work. I've already been 1 week without food and I'm losing the weight I want to, it's great. Anyway, I have always gone out on meal times before, but my mom insists that I stay home tonight and eat with them. How can I get out of it? I can't eat it, I just can't, I'm close to my target and if I eat now I'll ruin it. Plus the thought of food just makes me feel sick. How can I get out of it? I'm fat and ugly and I need to stop this by losing weight.

Starving yourself isn't good. It sounds like your mom is on to you. It must be affecting something, your behavior, your schoolwork, something. You may be losing weight but you are hurting your metabolism as your body is going into starvation mode. You need to control the portions of what you eat. It is hard work. Please try to eat some dinner. Just nibble. Make yourself take a pause and chew slowly. If you are the last to finish then you go throw out whatever is left when everyone has left the table.

Exercise. Eat sensibly. That is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.

I always go to sleep whenever i feel like eating. No doubt sleeping makes you fat and lazy too but it is better than eating.

Hmmm, break an old vase, or the t.v., or something expensive

This will most likely get you grounded and sent to your room. They'll be so upset at you they'll forget about whether you eat dinner or not.

Ah, you need to eat. No one is forcing you to eat excessively. Just cut your food up into little pieces and eat slowly. And talk alot during dinner so you don't have as much time to eat. You do know that if you starve yourself, your body goes into starvation mode, which causes your metabolism to slow, and gain back all of the weight you have lost, don't you? Besides, how long do you plan on keep this up? You CAN'T not eat for the rest of your life.

You should never starve yourself to lose weight!!!! Honestly, your parents need to take you to the doctor to make sure you have not harmed yourself and then get a consult with a nutritionist to develop a healthy eating plan that will help you reach your goal. Besides, how tall are you and what is your current weight?
