Help me please??(10 pts 4 best answer all around!!)?!

Question: Ok, so for excercising, i will be doing either 1 hour of intense karate training, and then 200 crunches. Or...I will be doing 1 mile of running on a machine (i seriously don't know what its called) and also 300 crunches. Does this sound like enough if I lower my calorie intake by oh, say, 400 calories? Do I need more, or less, or what. Also, any tips and good excercises besides the usual....
And also, why is it bad to lose more then 2 lbs a week? I've been taught this, but never understood it....

ok...1 more question--is it true 2 tsps of bakers yeast a day will give you a higher metabolism, how can you raise your metabolism?

Sorry it's all so long, and 3 questions, if you can only answer 1, thats perfectly fine!! Thank you!

FYI- I'm 16, weigh 146, and want to be skinnier!! I'm 5'2...umm and have juvenille diabetes, the type you get from genes. It's a little harder for me to lose weight because insulin makes me fat(contains fat). And I can't really live without it...HELP???

Well it seems like the exercises you are doing will be good enough to lower your cal. intake by 400-600 calories. And it is not bad to lose 2 lbs per week as long as you do it properly and healthily.

And I'm not sure about the yeast thing, but if you exercise well you should be able to drop several pounds and also gain some muscle which helps burn the fat that you insulin gives you.

Good luck to you!
