How can i lose the weight?!


Question: Im going on vacation the first week of june and i want to lose some weight. im overweight, but i just want to slim down a little. i have really bad back and knee problems, so running and going for walks are a no-go. does anyone know a website with like a one-week meal and excercise plan i could follow? i have no control with eating so i need a few tips..
please help :/

Im assuming by losing weight you mean losing fat.

For diet-

Try and stick to meats, nuts, fruit, and veggies

If you cannot live without the classic American cereal, and sandwiches then eat the stuff with high fiber content and whole grain but it is better to rely on fruits, veggies, and nuts for your energy

example-instead of eating a sandwich with two pieces of bread try two big pieces of lettuce, instead of putting peanut butter on bread try using celery or apples, and finally instead of eating sandwiches at all try a salad with a VINIGARETTE dressing and No Croutons!

For Exercise-

If you cannot run then swim for cardio, it is very low impact and exercises every muscle in the body. But if your afraid of going out in a bathing suit then go for long walks or hikes. Walking up a steep mountain is like running on flat ground!
30 minutes a day is the bear minimum and a very small amount of time compared to how long many would sit through an movie.

And finally one must add at least a little muscle mass because it increases the rate at which one burns calories. A muscular person is going to burn a lot more calories sitting on the couch then a skin, fat, and bones person. So lift weights! Use low weights with high reps if you dont want to add alot of muscle.

For Mind-

Your weight includes your skeletal frame, water weight, muscle, and fat therefore I would pay more attention to the way you appear. Weight is really just a number!

If you have a love for the scale, at least try not to waste your time weighing yourself every day cause that causes alot of people to believe nothing works when in reality alot does work but they measure weight loss through one days change on the scale! Weigh yourself once a week if you must.

Finally dont try to lose all your desired fat in a short period of time because it is unhealthy and your ten times more likely to gain it back along with some extra!

and for a workout try going to the gym and do one set on the heaviest weight you can handle and thats it.
my doctor told me that. also try ellpiticals. you can go at your own pace and it works out everything

also take multi-vitamins

Well eat lots of fruit and veggies but not very many bananas because those are high in fat. its a good fat that our body needs but its a no no for losing weight. I have terrible knees too, so do lots of stretches, even while your watching t.v. tell yourself that on every commercial you are going to do 20 sit ups. Cut out any fatty stuff like NO pizza until after your trip! What about slim fast? never tried it but it might work. Good luck!
