If I begin to run 4 miles a day, how long will it take me to lose 5lbs?!

Question: I'm 5'6" and 127lbs. or so. I know this isn't that bad, but I really want to look thinner. I already do this cardio interval video (38 minutes) every day and Abs of Steel (10 minute ab workout). If I run 4 miles every day on top of this, how long will it take me to lose 5 lbs?

if you eat right and do that exersizing you should lose it quick! maybe 2 weeks, but you need to eat a healthy breakfast (cereal), a turkey sandwich at lunch, and a light dinner, maybe one of those weight watcher frozen dinners, those are yummy. and don't forget snacks in between.

I don't think anyone could answer this for you. Its actually how you do it. what you eat, what you drink. you running on a tredmil? roads? hills? how fast are you going? there is a lot to play in that how long. maybe a week or 2 is my guess.

actually contrary to popular beileif while walking and running the same path you will lose the same amout of calories. but the guy above is right no one can awnser that for you but try to aim for about a pound and a half lost a week.
(ps you may look thinner and gain weight)

First of all, you're skinny as hell! I am the same height but I weigh 11lbs more than you, and I am the perfect weight according to my doctors.

Second, everyone's body is different, so no one can accurately answer this question for you. But really, you don't need to lose 5lbs! You're perfect! I would just do some toning.
