If I were you I wouldn't try to lose weight. The reason I say this is because, usually people that have weight issues are the ones that need to lose weight. If you are not out of shape, and overweight then you don't need to lose. Don't worry about what people say, because it can lead to disaster. So many teenage girls go through phases where they feel fat or ugly and they end up doing things they regret just to fit in. Some have gone to extremes and wound up in the hospital and even dead. Don't do anything you will regret. Just stay on course with what you know is right. If you have any doubts, as I said before your doctor can tell you if you need to lose weight, but don't do it for others, do it for yourself and because its what you are supposed to do.

if you want to.

what the scale says is not totally important. BMI matters more (those arithmetic things aren't totally accurate, better to do a fitness evaluation where they have machines that send pulses through your body and match what they find with your age and weight to determine fat in your body)

thats good if they say u look skinnier everyguy likes a shawty with alittle meat on her bones

I wouldnt do anything unless you want to impress someone......

its up to you. How do YOU feel about your weight?

Yes of course!
Dont even match it..Surpass it and wow them all!
Summer is coming up girly so do it..Do it right though...Exercise everyday and watch what happens!
Good Luck!

Don't lose weight for the sake of other people, do what you want and what would make you happy.

I get that ALOT too! I am 5'2 and WAS 160 and was a SNUG 14 - but everyone always told me I looked like a 9-10 and that I looked healthy and didnt NEED to lose weight. it's how you feel comfortable. I am now 125 - because I was not comforable - but thats me - I still would Love to lose more but we will see. But dont worry about what others say - if you are happy thats all that matters! Good Luch to you :)

Losing weight is all about how you feel about your own self esteem.

I was weighing in at 240 and decided to do something about it. I joined a 90 day weight challenge at the local karate school and have lost 20 pounds in two months, and four inches around my waist. I've gone from a 46 to a 42 and still dropping.

I'm planning on continuing with the aerobic kickboxing because I want to get down to 175, and should make it there by Christmas. But then again that is a goal I've set for myself. My counselor says I should be down to 215 by the end of the 90 days. I'm currently at 218 so I'm really excited.

But as the others have advised, if you want to go on a diet, do it the right way. Don't go on a fad diet because they don't work. The secret to losing weight and keeping it off is lose it gradually. Because if you don't it will all come back.

Exercise a lot and stop drinking pop. Even diet soda isn't your friend. I drink flavored water like that Nestlee water. I like the lemon water but also like the tropical fruit as well.

You also didn't say how tall you are or how old you are. But if you are a 38-30-43, then you need to work on the abs.

as long as it doesnt effect your health, then stay the way you are. I ike yiu for who you are other should/would too

i don't know really. just make sure to do it in a healthy way make sure you eat some food. don't worry about dropping a lot of weight.
