yes, it's possible. Muslims fast for 1 month, men n women, except for those days of menstruation, women can't fast that time, n pray 5 times a day, it should help loosing weight.

Yes, you CAN lose weight by fasting and not exercising but it's not a smart way to go. The problem is that you won't like the way you look when you're done! Because your body won't be getting the nutrients that it needs, your metabolism will slow way down. You hair will get dull, your skin will get unhealthy, and nothing will really look good. You'll also lose lean muscle mass instead of fat. There are so many better ways to lose weight that will keep you looking great the whole time. For more information, check out the website below.

yes u will loose weight but u will also gain it when u start eating more regular because your body will not no when your next goin to eat again so therefore stores all the fats.

and crash diets will effect your health and may cause problems..

beleave it or not but if u eat little but oftern u will lose weight more then cutting out meals .

yes, its can be. but if you eat fruit fresh and juice its more help and healthy.

No You can't. Insted you gona gain weight. Muslim do fasting for their believe not to get slim. So no fasting not going to work. If you are fat and want to loss weight then exercise is only only only option but you also need low calories food.

There is a lot of type of fasting. It depending on type of fasting, but fasting definetly will lose weight.

I tried the muslim fast for 2 weeks, I ended up gaining fat. you know why? Coz Muslim fast, you can't drink or eat from morning after prayer until about evening. Then once you break fasting (by evening), you tense to eat a lot.

You can lose weight by not exercising but you would get sick if you fasted you would be better off with a controlled diet. Iam losing weight but cant excerise

Yeah. You can lose a ridiculous amount of weight. Your body needs glycogen so that your brain can function, when it is does not receive that substance due to your lack of eating, your body will turn to your liver, then to your muscles for a short period and then your body will eventually start using your fat as fuel...

"If glucose is still denied at this point, the body will attempt to prevent muscle wasting, by temporarily switching to fat as its primary fuel source. It uses a process called 'Gluconeogenesis' to 'create new sugar (fuel) from the fat."

This process continues for as long as people have fat storages. People have been known to lose a pound a fat a day for relatively short fasts, but as the body begins to get used to using fat as a primary source of glycogen, more and more fat becomes used. So some losses of 40 pounds in little less than two weeks have happened, although if it is done, it should be done under severe observation and supervision as it is dangerous.

Hope this helped.

hk, Muslims do not fast for a month.
They do not eat between sunrise and sunset, therefore they eat as much as they like each day before the sun rises, and again after it has set. It's no big deal and no hardship.

I suppose you can, it's sorta like a crash diet eh? although the bad thing about something like this is the pounds pile back on as soon as you start to eat 'normal' again and I don't mean eating chocolate and that, I mean eating sensible.

I'll be honest. You need a drastic change in your attitude if you want to be healthy, lose weight, and keep the weight off. I would recommend following a weight loss program to lose weight http://www.alfitness.com.au
You need a weight loss program to follow and educate you on healthy eating and exercise. When you fast you metabolism slows until you eat to preserve energy. Lose weight the right way, not by harming your body.
