Good idea. Step aerobics is only one way to get your cardio in though. If/When you get bored, don't give up. Just find another routine!

Good idea, provided you don't have any joint problems.

I'd start with four-ish times a week. This gives your muscles a couple of days for much-needed rest =] This way, you won't over-do it and burn your muscles as fuel! When you start adjusting to the aerobics, then up the number of days. Hope this helps! =]

Good idea. However if your not used to working out, 1 hour might be to much for you to start out at. Maybe try 30min for the first week.

Good idea however you should do core workouts also.
