first of all please stop putting your self down if you keep thinking youre fat yu will be fat what you need to do is eat healthy do lots of exercise and keep telling yourself u can do it

Hugs to you.
I am really sorry to hear about your struggle with weight loss. It is so hard to lose fat, but so easy to put it on. I have been watching Paul McKenna on TLC on Sunday nights. He seems to have a method that may work for you. He talks about motivation and curbing cravings and such. Here is a link. Take some time to look it over and visit his site. I hope it helps.

The thing that helps me most is to listen to my stomach - not my mouth. I often think I want to eat more, but then I realize that it's my mouth that wants to TASTE the food, not my body that NEEDS it. Just remember that you're in control. It's mind over matter. It's certainly not easy, but you can do it. :)

You need to be totally ready to change your life and when that time comes, you will know it...the motivation will just be there. Make sure you are doing it for yourself and your health, and not a wedding. This is something that should be all about you! Start slowly, either by cleaning up your eating or by exercising. Don't be afraid to go into the gym you used to frequent. I would give you props for stepping back into your old gym. Don't worry about what other people may think of you. Be strong, start slowly, and one-by-one start adding in new healthy habits. To make a lasting change, it needs to be a whole lifestyle change that is best done one piece at a time. Good luck!

im like in the same situation and i have no willpower.

i think once u start loosing weight u will want to continue it

i am thinking of going on a three day diet, and hopefully if i see some weight loss it might motivate me

Please email me. I've lost a lot of weight and am studying to be a nutritionist, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I can help you out for free:-) It'll be good practice for me. My name is Tricia and I am 25. my email is RainbowFantasy28@yahoo.com.
my whole idea of losing weight is to do it in a way that you enjoy. believe me you can, i didn't think you could but I have changed. I've lost over 40 lbs and am going for 40 some more.

I'd say achieving your goal is going to require a lifestyle change in you. If you're only concerned about getting yourself together for the wedding then your results won't last!

Go to the gym and forget about whose looking. You can't afford that vanity now.

Did you see the episode on "Biggest Looser" where they had to put on a fat suit? Imagine yourself peeling off that fat suit and getting down to the beautiful you on the inside.

GO FOR IT!

What you need to do is cardio, this burns off pure body fat if it is done in the morning before eating anything. Make sure you get protein in your diet and eat as much veggies as you can. Very low in calories and will fill you up from the fiber. Eat these with fat free salad dressing or dip. The way to motivate yourself is to think of how you are now, and how you want to look at the wedding. You want to look good so when you step onto a treadmill think how each step you take will bring you closer to looking great.
If you can afford it buy a treadmill so you can use it eveyday if you are too shy to go to a gym, but if you want, do a little bit of weight training with an instructor because puting on a little muscle burns alot of calories and fat. If those arent avialable you can do walking around your neighborhood or backyard until you feel comfortable around people. But seriously consider a gym, noone will make fun of you, because you are there for the same reason as most of them. To look better and feel better.
Don't cut out all of your favorite food at once because this will cause you great cravings which will probably ruin your diet. Gradually take away less sweets and junk food and pretty soon you won't want them anyway.
Again for motivation think of your future, and how good you will feel if you complete this.
Don't go overboard on cardio though because you still need energy and to make it through the day.
Don't stop once you reach this goal, continue on your healthy lifestyle and you will be happy for it.
I can help you put together a good home training program and eating schedule, or you can check out some web sites.
Hope this helps.

The most important thing is to actually get started. It is usually easy to put it off till tomorrow. Start by getting on a diet, usually just cutting down how much you eat will work wonders. Eating half of what you normally put on your plate is a good place to start. Then get started at the gym. I understand why you would feel uncomfortable but remember you are going there for you and not for anybody else. If you can't do that, just walking at least 30 mins a day around your neighborhood is also really good for you. If there is someone who could be your partner in your weight loss program that would be great, this will help you motivate each other when you are feeling down. Hope you succeed in your goal!
