What would help me gain weight, The doctor thinks its Nutrient Malabsorbtion?!

Question: Help! I have been the same weight for 20 years now 135lbs, (I'm 6'0") and I have tried adding alot of carbs and protein to my Diet, but everytime I do, I feel miserable and have to stop. I typically cant eat a large meal because it feels like my brain just shuts off my ability to eat, as if its saying "this is all the nutrients I can absorb" and if I try to force it, It's a struggle to keep it down. There are time periods when I can eat larger meals, but even when I am able to eat a large meal, I dont benefit from it and it usually gives me an upset stomach, or diarhea, and is usually followed by another round of needing smaller meals. It feels as if my body is regulating itself as though its saying "I know what I need and thats all I want."
THe doctor said that its likely to be Nutrient Malabsorbtion, and things like celiac disease do not fit my symptoms. I feel healthy most of the time, but I dont have the stamina to do major physical activities. Does anything boost Absorbtion?

There is one test you can do(blood, and urine) it's called a D-xylose absorption test. D-xylose is a type of sugar that is usually easily absorbed by the smaller intestine. The test can help you diagnose problems that may not be allowing the intestine to absorb nutrients, the biggest ones being carbohydrates, and surgars. You do have some similar symptoms as celiac disease, but i think if you went to a Doctor they would have found that. If your Doctor told you to do one thing, they maybe, if you want, go to a different Doctor and get a different opinion. I usually don't like listening to just one Doctor's advice. Especially something like this. You should get a second opnion. In the mean time if it's your lower intenstine's fault, i don't think there is anything you can do( other than another Doctor) but take a good Multi to help you get what your losing, back.

That is probably a question you need to ask your doctor.

McDonald's can help u gain weight and at jamba juice they have absorption boosts.
