I just asked this question..."Am I too skinny?" Let me rephrase that..!


Question: I just asked this question, "Am I too skinny?" and EVERYONE was saying
"You need to eat! it's not healthy at ALL!"
Or
"It's bad to be anorexic"

Ok, I eat EVERYTHING!
If it's food, I'll eat it.
I LOVE food.

So..I'm not starving myself..K?

Also, I'm not trying to be this skinny to "Lose weight"
I've been trying to gain weight forever now!
(For like 5, maybe 6 years)
But I just can't gain it on my own. The only way (in my family)
is with age, you'll gain it.
Every girl in my family is REALLY skinny until they have kids,
then the "Baby weight" kicks in, and they like to try to keep it
as long as they can.lol

I like the size that I'm at now. (now that I can finally fit into a
size 0 and them not be too big on me)
But some ppl say that I'm still too skinny.

Am I?
I'm 57', 101 lbs, and I'm 16 yrs old.

Yes that would make you dangerously underweight and you'd be doing permanent damage to your vital organs. Sorry to say this but please don't listen to people who say things like 'you should be a model' or 'you look great' How skinny you LOOK isn't the issue. Your health IS being damaged by being at this weight and I would suggest keeping trying to gain.
Nuts, cheese,milk, bananas and avocados are all healthy ways to gain weight. Nuts in particular are great cos they're VERY calorific and you don't feel like you're eating too much. Adding cheese to your meals is also great way to gain and there are very few meals which don't go with cheese (none in my opinion.)
If you can't manage big meals, try to eat something healthy with carbs, protein and fats at least every couple of hours

I don't think your too skinny.

yes your weight is very low compared to your height. i would try to gain weight. your pictures don't seem like you are anorexic skinny but your weight is low. definitely try to eat more and gain some weight.

No you're not too skinny at all. Just try to be comfortable with yourself.

if your at that weight and anorexic then your at health risks. but if your naturally like that, your fine.

ur not really like anorexic skinny...i think u look cute and u need to gain some more weight but other than that u look really pretty and not too skinny!!!

visually yes and no. to me you are very pretty but could use another 15 lbs to bulk up just a bit (im in the same boat btw)
health wise if you are eating everything and still remain skinny then you are healthy . im in tip top shape 5'1 and 95 lbs. i hate it. my goal is to be 120 . gaining for some people can be just as hard as losing it and there isnt a lot of sympathy for wanna be gainers like us. i landed in the hospital a few times cuz i tried to hard to gain weight. i over did the sugar and im now hypoglycemic as a result. my advise is if you want to gain weight without hurting yourself go see your dr. and she/he can recommend a diet that is healthy and could work.. oh yea if you find anything that helps you gain let me know. and if you don't find anything that works then just try to be comfortable with what you look like and accept it cuz you cant change it

i dont think that you look too skinny but you are underweight....im 17, 5'7 and 130 lbs and i get called too skinny all the time, i wear size 7 jeans....so theres like a 30 lb difference btw us and if im considered skinny then you are deffinately too skinny but hey if youre confortable and confident at where youre at then thats great

You've been given a gift! Lol. The gift of eating whatever you want and not gaining from it! All I have to do is look at food the and I'll gain a couple of pounds. Do you think maybe we could switch sometime..J/K. I think you look great girly! You could def. be a model!

For your height you don't weigh enough. I am 5'6" and have just recently dropped 15 lbs very quickly. I am about 20 lbs underweight. I weigh about 107 lbs right now and am actively trying to gain weight. It is frustrating and then on top of it you get people that say stupid things like "Man, I wish I had that problem." I have not tried to do it on purpose either. It can be an indication of a health problem. You may want to go to the Dr for some general blood work. I have a problem with my blood sugar being too high...pre-diabetes. If you can see your bones sticking out...(which I can on myself)...it really isn't very attractive. I am very self-conscious of my weight. I hate being this little. I might as well weigh 400 lbs...I would feel the same.

If this is the size that your body is currently and you eat decent without over exercising than I will say that you are at your ideal weight.

I looked at your photos and you don't look too thin. I know what it is like to be skinny just because that it how your body is. I was that way when I was younger as well. When I graduated from high school I weighed 95 pounds and I am 5'4". I ate everything from McDonalds to doughnuts and could not gain weight. I did not start getting bigger until my early twenties when I really started drinking and partying. Don't worry about what other people think about you. You know your body better than anyone else.
