Do you drink enough water?!


Question: I just started to drink more water then usual and I wanted to know what kind of good effect does water have on a person body. I know that it hydrates you but what are other benefits? I started to drink more water because I never really did drink as much as we are suppose to. I have started to notice that my skin (especially my face) looks healthier and clearer.

The skin is healthier because the water is flushing it out.

It keeps your skin supple so it doesnt dry out.

It keeps your internal organs healthy, especially the kidneys.

It helps you lose weight since it will give you a "full" feeling.

It is calorie and fat free so you won't gain weight from it.

Drinking water actually helps you LOSE water weight since it is flushing your system.

Most foods contain a lot of water, so in my view people are wrong in worrying so much. Anyway, if you indeed start looking healthier because you drink more water, you weren't drinking enough of it, and you should continue as you are doing right now.

I suppose it helps to flush your system too. But I personally don't find drinking more or less water effects me... In fact I saw this program where they got identical twins and one only drank a bit of water and one drank 8 glass a day and at the end of a month it had had no effect on either of them. Sorry that doesn't really answer your qustion but I thought it was kinda interesting!

It really softens up your elbows and helps your skin look alot healthier. Oh and it cleans out your system.

most foods these days hav bad shyt in them un less ur gona by organic food 24/7 witch is shyt to an extent trust me im a cheff...drinkn water flushes all the bad stuff out..it cleans ur liver kidneys blood and as u said ur skin..ur skin is made up ov 80% water so drink pleanty ov it :)

Water is the elixir of life. Most of us don't drink enough. Water helps keep all of your organs hydrated, it helps your body rid itself of toxins, it increases your metabolism and much more. Your cells need water to properly function.

People who have skin problems like Rosacea often don't drink enough water.

People often mistake thirst for hunger and eat instead of drinking water.

Being dehydrated can also cause you to become sluggish and lethargic.
