I ate about an hour before going to sleep, will that cause me to gain fat?!


Question: I ate 2 pieces of toast with jam, a cup of milk, a cup of yogurt and a banana about an hour before going to sleep, will that cause me to gain fat? I am 17 years old, male by the way.

What matters is total intake in the day and not what u ate just before going to bed.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day. Include plenty of vegetables and fruits in ur food. Eat slow, chewing each morsel at least 32 times. This activates ur body to send signals that u have enough. No snacks or drinks in between except water.

Take light exercises and walking for about 30 min every day preferably twice a day.

Be patient to see the results in hassle free mode in reasonable time.

Yeah, you shouldnt eat before you sleep cause you dont get a chance to burn the calories. Some also say that certain foods can cause you to have weird dreams.

Only if what you ate makes your total calorie intake for the day exceed what you need to maintain your current weight. Not matter how we cut it or what it's called, every calorie counts!
