I find it difficult to work out my obliques, I do about 5 reps and they start bu!

Question: I think I can't seem to do a lot of reps for my obliques is because I still have a big stomach and I'm not that flexible, Should I neglect doing the obliques until I lose a litte more weight.

You hit it right on the head...

Focus on losing a bit of weight (if you are very heavy) before doing hard core building. The reason is, you could hurt yourself. It's very easy to hurt yourself when working out.

Lose the extra weight then begin your core strengthening, then go to weight lifting if it's what you want.

Even if you do the crunches and oblique exercises right, you will only make your stomach look way bigger by building up muscle mass under the fat.

You should still work on your obliques, but don't do any more reps than you can. You should also incorporate cardio into your workout. Working on just your stomach will help strengthen the muscle, but you need to do cardio in order to actually get rid of the fat.

Dito and dito.
