Does anyone know how/why I am fat only in the tummy?!


Question: Okay. So I am a normal/average sixteen year old girl. I am not the skinniest girl around but am proportioned through out my body so I look healthy until I you see my stomach. I only gain "fat" weight in my stomach? Some days I am really bloated and some days I am slimmer but can never trim my tummy at all? Anyone have a clue as to why this might be? (NO I am not pregnant.)

some people are more prone to putting fat on in the middle like you. Start by changing your eating habits.You probably don't do a lot of physical activity that tones that region of your body.
The answer as well is to exercise it off, there are many routines that you will find on the internet that show you how to take it off in about 6 weeks. Once you start and love the results you will keep doing it for the rest of your life. It will be hard at first but once it's gone and say you get a little lazy and it starts to come back a little ,you just get back on the routine to take it off again in no time

Stop drinking beer, thats the main reason for it. Do some ab training

you probably sit around a lot and not get enough exercise. if you do a few crunches everyday you will see a difference and your tummy will start getting flat. hope this helps!

I know of a classmate just like you--skinny, but with a "fat" tummy. I always wondered what's wrong, until she told me that she has always been like that ever since. Genetic make-up, maybe? Are some of your family members the same?

People have different body builts--some are fat in the tummy area, some in the hips, some in the arms. Yours probably just happens to be in the tummy area.

you might be insulin resistant. is there any one in your immediate family that suffers from insulin resistance or diabetes? although I think you might be too young. but it is best to get informed and seek professional advice-doctor, nutritionist, etc.

i speak from personal experience, i am currently insulin resistant, but through diet and exercise am doing everything Ii can to avoid it developing into diabetes

It depends on how much excercise you do.Just do some abs and it will look better .Also loads of fizzy drinks and gassy stuff.Just lay down on the fizy stuff and go up on the abs

do some exercise on your tummy
