Answers: Too much of Carbohydrates,Protein,Fiber,Vitamin C,Calcium, etc:

well... everything that is too much is not good for your healthy.

Carbohydrates give you energy to your body, but if you use it excessively without making exercises you can gain weight very easily and even cause other physical problems like low blood sugar and problems regarding to gas.

High protein diets can cause a number of health problems like kidney failure, high colesterol in your blood vessels, osteroporosis, kidney stones and even cancer.

The consumption of too much protein gives to you a higher risks of get high colesterol that will lead you to heart deseases and cancer.

The higher amount of proteins can cause people to excrete more calcium in their urine, that will may give problems like kidney rocks and osteoposis.

too much fiber can cause fratulence, but I dont think yuo have this problem because you have a lot vegetables, and even a vegetarian would not consume the amount of fibers that would come to this point. So I would not worry with it if I were you, especially because you are just 13 years old, you need to eat fibers to protect you aginst desesases.

Too much calcium can cause neurological function and parathyroid problem.

Too much phosforus in the blood can cause lost of calcium in the bones.

I hope that it will be helpful for you. I would advice you now that you are in your teenager years, that if you really want to take care of your healthy that you always eat vegetables from all colors, fruits, fibers, livers and fish, green vegetables and drink milk.

Besides that drink a lot of water because your body needs water to help you to develope your body, make your bones strong, and your skin quality better.

...and last go to your doctor if you have one and check with him the best way to control your healthy. Be wise and everything will be ok.

Carbohydrates/Protien can be stored as fat IIRC. A lot of the vitamins just go through your body. There are some situations where extreme amounts of a mineral/vitamin can be harmful or cause death.

By definition 'too much of something' is never going to be a good thing. But yes it really depends on what you are looking at.

Certain water soluble vitamins (B vitamins in particular) may simply be flushed out of the system if too much are consumed.

On the other hand certain vitamins that are fat soluble (which means they can be stored in the bodys fat cells) can build up to toxic levels over time if you have too much.

Also too much calcium will seriously decrease the amounts of zinc your body absorbs or too many calories (i.e from protein, carbs or fat) may cause you to gain weight.

All that sounds like doom and gloom but I'm talking about seriously large amounts here. If your eating a good varied diet made up of food from all the food groups then you'll be fine.

how much is "too much?"
