I have been on the Jelly tot diet since christmas and my wee has been blue, green, red and orange. But I do now have diabetes.......lost 7 stone tho

to lose weight just watch what you eat, when you eat and how you eat (speed / how spread out over the day etc.)

sugar will make u gain weight just as much as fat if eaten in large quantities. u need balance to lose weight.

Whatever the type of diet, you will only lose weight if your calorie intake is lowered.

No. The whole 'low fat' idea has been debunked these days - it was a theory popular in the 70s and 80s but has no scientific backing any more.

To lose weight, you need to cut your calorie intake. Sugary foods are high in calories, so unless you reduce the amount of them you eat, you will not lose weight - it's as simple as that, unfortunately.

no eat like healthy stuff not sugary stuff look what u are eating and exercise everyday

Although they are tasty I dont think a Jelly Tots diet is a good idea!! Eating lots of high sugar foods will mean that your body has to produce a large amount of insulin to ensure that your blood sugar level doesn't get too high, which as you say in the long term can be a cause of diabetes.

If you only ate high sugar foods your body won't be getting all the nutrients that it needs, a balanced varied diet is the best.

If you want to loose weight you could try a low fat diet, or some simple tips are eating lean meat, cutting the fat off, try healthier cooking methods such as steaming or boiling etc. instead of frying.

Increase your exercise levels too that will also help you to loose weight. And Im sure the odd bag of Jelly Tots wont hurt every now and again.

no you will not lose weight as the sugar (glucose) that the you don't burn off will just convert into fat. the best way to lose weight is to eat lots of small portions of healthy foods reguraly through out the day. Always eat breakfast as this starts your metabolism going and will help you burn off more calories. eating a breakfast such as porridge will keep you feeling fuller for longer. There are ways to speed up your metabolism aswell. Eating spicy foods such as chiles, black pepper and ginger will do this as they raise your body temperature helping you to burn fat faster. Avoid eating curries out though as these are often oily and fatty, your best off making your own curry as you'll know whats in it! Also i from my own experience i think it helps if you drink a lot of water as it always makes me feel full if i drink alot!
