Why do I feel lazy after gaining 30lbs?!

Question: Has this happened to anyone else? You gain a lot of weight and suddenly you feel sluggish, lazy and less energetic. And yes I'm working to lose it but ugh I just hate feeling so lazy...

yep, i've gained a stone, before i used to feel light and had more energy, now i feel quite lazy and get tierd easier, but usually feel most tired day after pigging on junk, almost like an hangover.

its due to eating crap, alot of stuff like porcessed unhealthy junk.

basically you are what you eat as they say.

try to eat more fruit and veg it really does help, maybe get a multi vitamin and drink alot more water.

maybe go full on banning processed foods altogether!

you might also want to get the book 'skinny b*tch' its a really good read and tell you all about what happenes to your food, what it actauly contains, why it makes you fat, etc, its a really good read :)

Get up and don't be lazy. The reason why you feel lazy is because you let your body get spoiled. Get up and burn some fat, get up and get healthy. Eat, but eat healthy! And just get your discipline together.

Has that happened to anyone else? It happened to every single individual who let themselves get spoiled down and just let the weight gain take its toll.

30LB is a lot of weight for your body to gain

More stress on the organs. More energy needed to lug around the extra fat. Self esteem effects energy level, too.

yes it's probably the quality of food you've been eating that's made you put on weight is probably loaded with refined sugars which means you'll feel less energy and less likely to want to get up and do exercise.
Cut out the junk then add in some exercise, add at least 2 lts of water - you'll see what a difference this will make for you, and take a multivitamin - try to do your exercise first thing in the morning this should energize you for the rest of the day.
Foods that give you energy are fruits, veg, porridge - low GI foods, plus don't forget to go bed and get those 8hrs, no caffeine as well!

Once you start working out you will feel better and energized immediately. The hard part is just making yourself do it and getting in the habit of doing it consistently.
