Why do people always say I'm skinny?!

Question: It makes me feel sad, because they don't use the words slender or thin. I'm 14 and I wear a size 2 in juniors. I'm 5'2 and way 103 lbs. I preffer healthy foods but my matabalism is so fast I have to eat alot and my bones are naturally thin.I'm not anorexic, because I eat alot(my mom jokes that I have a tapeworm) I know I don't. Anyway this kid said I looked like a stick figure and all the other girls are filling out( if you know what I mean) and I only where a 32A. I don't know what to do I'm not depressed I have friends and I play the piano and violin but yeah.

a million girls would kill to look like that me being one of them learn to love ya body youve got it for life =Dand jus cos ya only an a cup is nothing you will grow, and aslong as your eating healthaly you will be fine and other girls are jelous ii promise ya xo

They are probably jealous your weight is fine.

Don't freak out. people say that to me a lot too and i'm definitely not skinny... but they often think it's a compliment or they don't think about what they're saying. you're right to just be happy and accept your body.

Well, first of all, the important thing is that you eat enough and you eat healthy food, and try to avoid the junk food. Even if you are thin, junk food can cause digestion issues and fatigue. Also, you may want to consider a vitamin supplement to help your body more efficiently convert food to energy (probably a multivitamin is good for a teenager). Sounds like you are already eating healthy so...

If you want to put on some good weight, you may want to try some weight training or get involved in a sport that will help you increase your strength (even if it is not a school-sponsored sport). If you do the weight-training, make sure you do it in a balanced way as not to overemphasize any particular body part.

Most of all, be happy that you are slender and not overweight...

Hope this helps...
